Because NautParty works without user accounts or email logins, we use a small set of essential cookies and browser storage keys to remember your 18+ age confirmation, keep your game drafts on your device, and let you manage results you create. Optional Google Analytics is off by default and never runs inside games or After Dark.
Google Analytics loads only if you click 'Accept analytics', and only on Home (/) and Safe Play (/safe-play).
Games, results, comparisons, invitations, Global Pulse, and After Dark use a separate document boundary without Google scripts.
HTTP-only cookies remember your 30-day 18+ confirmation and let your browser unpublish or delete results you created.
Rejecting analytics disables the tag, deletes _ga / _gid / _gat cookies across paths and domains, and reloads a clean page.

These controls apply to the current domain origin in this browser. Because browsers isolate storage by domain, if you use both nautparty.com and a room subdomain (such as play.nautparty.com or afterdark.nautparty.com), preferences apply per origin.
1. Optional Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
Current status: Checking your browser preference…
Used only on Home and Safe Play directory pages to understand aggregate visits. Never loaded on After Dark, games, results, comparisons, invites, or Global Pulse.
2. Local Browser Storage (Drafts & Nickname)
Removes locally stored game progress (Culture Pulse drafts, Jar ratings in progress, pass-the-phone player rosters, local nicknames, saved cards, quizzes and quiz responses) from localStorage and sessionStorage.
Device-only copies cannot be recovered. Close other game tabs first; open tabs can save their drafts again. Server results and account cookies are managed separately.
3. Essential HTTP-Only Server Cookies
Resets your 30-day 18+ age confirmation (nautparty_adult), your anonymous result-creator token (nautparty_browser), and any legacy session cookies (funnaut_session, funnaut_name).
Tip: Delete or unpublish any stored results first before clearing nautparty_browser, as that cookie proves your browser created them.
Essential First-Party Cookies
These cookies are set only when needed to provide a feature you request (such as entering After Dark, creating a server-saved result, or signing in via a legacy invite). They are HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, and Secure in production, and are never used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Optional Google Analytics & Cloudflare Turnstile
Google Analytics 4 (Strictly Optional · Home & Safe Play Only)
We ask for your permission before loading Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID G-8M3FEXM30G).
- No Pre-Consent Loading: The Google Tag script (
googletagmanager.com/gtag/js) is not injected into the page unless and until you click “Accept analytics”. - Strict Route Isolation: Even when accepted, analytics runs only on the public Home (
/) and Safe Play (/safe-play) directory pages. It never loads onafterdark.nautparty.com,/after-dark, any game screen,/results/,/compare/,/invite/, or/pulse. - Privacy-Hardened Configuration: When active, we configure GA4 with
ad_storage: "denied",ad_user_data: "denied",ad_personalization: "denied",allow_google_signals: false, emptypage_referrer, and query-stripped directory URLs. - Cookies Set if Accepted:
_ga,_ga_8M3FEXM30G,_gid, and_gat(configured to expire after 180 days). Clicking “Reject optional” at any time setswindow["ga-disable-G-8M3FEXM30G"] = true, purges those cookies, and reloads the document.
Cloudflare Turnstile (Anti-Bot Security)
When enabled on login, public pack joins, and result creation, Cloudflare Turnstile (challenges.cloudflare.com) verifies that submissions come from a genuine browser to prevent automated spam. Turnstile is strictly necessary for platform security and does not track you for advertising.
